Sherylene Orsborn BphEd (University of Otago), REPs NZ Registered
With over 20 years first hand experience in the fitness industry and a Degree in Physical Education from the University of Otago, health and fitness has been been a part of my life for so long I can't actually remember a time when it wasn't. With four kids to run around after I value that fitness more than ever every day. This is why, in recent years, I have chosen to specialise in women's health particularly, fitness during pregnancy and post birth. Giving birth is a phenomenal act of nature that women are supposedly built for, yet so often, I see the impact these pregnancy and births have on women's bodies, their confidence and their general enjoyment of life and their family. Having trained in excess of 500 women in the Wellington region over the last 6 years I have taken a deep interest in this field of fitness and rehabilitation, have undertaken extensive research and continue to learn on a daily basis. The results are clear to see from the confidence and strength I see in my clients, but don't take my word for it - check out my clients' testimonials below.
My classes are non judgmental, there can be as little or as much lycra as you like and you can work at your own pace. There is a class for every fitness level and multiple sessions available throughout the week.

Sheena (Mum of Two)
M and S are a combined weight of 30kg - almost half my body weight. M's little legs got tired going uphill so I piggy-backed her up the hill in parts, with S strapped on my front.
And the best thing is, I wasn't even puffed by it. I can't believe how strong I am now. Who would've thought that the strongest I would ever be is post 2 children! Couldn't have gotten here without you. So a big thank you!!
Katrina (New mum)
Even though I wanted to get into more intense exercise straight away, I found this class really helped me understand the areas in my body that needed to recover from and strengthen after birth. It also helped me meet other like-minded mums. Sherylene is great!
Rachael (mid 40's)
I have been with Sherylene for the last 3 years and its the best decision I could have made for my health and fitness. Granted the 5.30am alarm 3 days a week is still a shock to the system but the feeling of accomplishment and the way Bootcamp sets you up for the day is worth it. Sherylene has slowly and purposefully worked on my weak areas, altering exercises to suit my abilities. She pushes you when you need pushing and encourages you endlessly. I feel strong, confident and proud of my body and that is due in large to Sherylene."
...it is amazing how supported, encouraged and inspired I've felt.
It's a totally non-judgemental environment and if your bub loses the plot (or you do) Sherylene is there to offer a helping baby bouncing hand so you can still get the class done!
I've been going to Sherylene's exercise classes for approximately 6 years - and wouldn't want to go anywhere else. She is an amazing person who manages to be our PT as well as listening to all our problems (and solving a fair few too!). It helps me keep fit in a way that works for the whole family.
